About the Creator, Deacon Clemet Bell

Deacon Clemet Calvin Bell was born in 1940 in New Orleans, Louisiana, where he lived until 2005. Two days before Hurricane Katrina devastated the city, he and his family evacuated to Covington, Georgia, which has since become their permanent home. A proud U.S. Army veteran of the Vietnam Era, Deacon Bell holds a degree in Electrical Engineering. His professional career includes five years as a Quality Control Inspector in the Space Industry, followed by a 33-year tenure with Union Carbide Corporation. He served in various technical, leadership, and professional roles there, earning numerous continuing education credits. He is happily married to his beloved wife, Diane Bell. Together, they have three children, seven grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren. Deacon Bell is also a skilled Do-It-Yourself enthusiast. In 2007, he became a certified Home Inspector and has since helped countless individuals achieve homeownership while avoiding costly pitfalls. He continues to use his God-given talents to assist others in maintaining their homes as a ministry of service. Baptized at an early age, Deacon Bell has always been active in the church's life. His heart for servanthood began with his role as a junior deacon in his childhood church. Over the years, he has faithfully served as a senior deacon at Greater St. Stephen Full Gospel Baptist Church in New Orleans, Louisiana. He serves at Changing A Generation Full Gospel Baptist Church in Decatur, Georgia, as Co-Chairman of the Deacon Ministry. He is also the author of his book, “Changing The Narrative of The Baptist Deacon”, which will be available this Fall at Amazon. Since relocating to Georgia, Deacon Bell has taken on leadership roles across several ministries. He played a key role in establishing both the Deacon Ministry and the Transportation Ministry at Changing A Generation, where he continues to serve faithfully.
